Springfield, MO – SRC Logistics, Inc. (SRCL) is pleased to announce the promotion of Shane West to Environmental, Health and Safety Manager of SRC Logistics, effective November 15, 2019. In his new role, West will maintain and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company, local, state and federal rules and regulations, as well as continue to promote safety among SRCL employees.

West began his career at SRCL as a temporary line loader in August 2014 and was hired full-time in November 2015. Between 2015 and 2018, West worked in various operations roles including shipping, receiving and inspection for SRCL’s operations teams, allowing West to become acquainted with SRCL’s safety policies and practices. In 2018, West was hired as the Safety Coordinator for SRCL. As the Safety Coordinator, West took charge of implementing safety training and programs, conducting monthly audits and assisting with the development of safety rules.

West graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in General Business from Missouri State University (MSU) and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at MSU. West is also a member of the Young Professionals committee, an organization that promotes increasing awareness, education and funds for the Champion Athletes of the Ozarks.
