SRCL News | SRC Logistics Celebrates 25 Years in Core Management

SRC Logistics, Inc. (SRCL), a premier provider in reverse logistics and core management for the remanufacturing industries, celebrated its 25th anniversary on Nov. 8, 2019, with its employee owners. As a think you to the employee owners who made this anniversary possible, SRCL had its official 25th celebration for their employee owners in July. At this celebration, SRCL employee owners and their families were treated to an outing at a bowling and arcade facility.  

 Over the last 25 years, SRCL has helped original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) increase core returns, improve their forecast accuracy and upgrade out-of-date core management processes. SRCL was originally founded under the name of Encore, Inc. in 1994. Under this name, the company focused solely on core storage and management. However, SRCL quickly expanded its product and service offerings to include a full-range of core services, such as a web-based comprehensive core management system (RLMS™), freight solutions and supply chain services. In an effort to more fully capture their broad service offerings, the company changed its name to SRC Logistics in 2008.

 In 2018, SRCL processed and managed over 3.5 million pieces of core in their facilities. SRCL expects to exceed this amount in 2019. SRCL looks forward to the next 25 years and to continuing to expand their products and services in core management for remanufacturers.

 SRCL is one of 10 subsidiaries of SRC Holdings Corporation. They are currently located in Springfield, MO and are supported by 125 employee owners.
