Remanufacturing Industries Council (RIC) Announces the Launch of the 1st Annual Remanufacturing ACE Award

The Remanufacturing Industries Council (RIC), an association representing all remanufacturing industry sectors, today announced the launch of the 1st Annual RIC Remanufacturing ACE Award. The ACE Award is bringing together partners, leaders, and nominees from the entire remanufacturing industry.

The ACE Award is based on RIC’s mission to ADVOCATE, COLLABORATE, and EDUCATE on behalf of the remanufacturing industry. This extraordinary award is the first award of its kind involving all sectors. The three nomination categories are:

·       Advocate:  This category looks at how the nominee promotes Remanufacturing or Sustainability in business, government, education or other field.

·       Collaborate: This category looks at how the nominee works with other companies, regulatory bodies, law makers, or others to promote Remanufacturing and other sustainable practices.

·       Educate:  This category looks at how the nominee demonstrates a passion toward educating others about the many benefits of Remanufacturing.

“We are very excited to have the opportunity to acknowledge the great work that remanufacturers are doing for the industry through the RIC Remanufacturing ACE Awards. Remanufacturing is a growing industry impacting the economy, jobs, and the environment.”

-Bill Davies, Chairman, Remanufacturing Industries Council and President, Davies Office Furniture

The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) is the first remanufacturing sector association to collaborate with RIC in promoting the award. The formal launch for the ACE Award will take place Saturday, October 29, 2016 in Las Vegas during the APRA’s Big R/ReMaTec Remanufacturer of the Year Award reception. The Big R/ReMaTec USA is the largest automotive remanufacturing event in North America.
