CUSTOMER HIGHLIGHT- Topper, Metzgar Walker present volunteer award to JLG Industries Inc.

State Reps. Jesse Topper of the 78th district and Carl Walker Metzgar of the 69th district recently presented JLG Industries Inc.’s Bedford facility with a Voluntary Protection Program Star Award from the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

VPP Star Awards go to businesses identified by OSHA as having made “extraordinary strides” to keep workers safe

Topper said that JLG’s Bedford site is the first facility in its industry and the first in Bedford County to win the award.

JLG, which is based in McConnellsburg, manufactures aerial work platforms, including scissor lifts and boom lifts.
