New RIC Executive Director Named

The Remanufacturing Industries Council has announced Joseph W. Allen as its new Executive Director. J. W. Allen has over 30 years of experience in remanufacturing, government affairs, and policy advocacy field at the State, Federal, and International level. Mr. Allen has also spent 34 years with Caterpillar Inc. and served as the company’s Commercial Manager for their global remanufacturing business and later their Director of Energy Policy in Washington, DC.

“Joe’s extensive experience will bring renewed leadership and creativity along with a deep passion to advance remanufacturing in the U.S. and around the world” said Mark Stratton, the Council’s Board Chairman.

The Remanufacturing Industries Council (RIC) is a non-profit organization and represents a strategic alliance of businesses and academic institutions that works across industry sectors to support the entire remanufacturing industry through a combination of collaboration, education, advocacy and research.
